Derby Panthers jumped out to an early lead over Eisenhower High School and took home a 12-5 victory on Monday. The Panthers scored on a triple by Cooper Welch, a single by Braden Ash, and a single by Alex McGill in the first inning.
The Panthers earned the victory despite allowing Eisenhower High School to score three runs in the sixth inning. Eisenhower High School’s big inning was driven by a single by Orand and a walk.
