Eisenhower High School
The Panthers defeated Eisenhower High School 7-0 on Monday as three pitchers combined to throw a shutout. Landon Spillman induced a groundout from Nuessen to finish off the game. An early lead helped propel the Panthers to victory. Derby took the lead on a single in the second inning. The Panthers captured the lead in the second inning. A wild pitch by Short scored two runs for the Panthers. The Panthers scored four runs in the fifth inning.
Noah Johnson earned the win for the Panthers . He pitched four innings, surrendering zero runs, one hit, striking out four, and walking zero. Braden Ash threw two innings, as two relievers helped Derby finish off the victory. Short took the loss for Eisenhower High School. He tossed four innings, surrendering three runs, six hits, and striking out three.
