Salina South High School
Tanner Olmstead didn’t allow a single run as the Derby Panthers defeated Salina South High School 4-0 on Friday. Olmstead allowed just one hit and struck out Sullivan to end the game.
The Panthers grabbed an early lead. The Panthers took an early lead in the first inning. An error scored two runs for the Panthers.
Tanner Olmstead earned the win for the Panthers taking a no hitter into the 7th inning. He threw seven innings, giving up zero runs, one hit, striking out four, and walking one. Humm took the loss for Salina South High School. He went six innings, allowing four runs, six hits, and striking out one.
Cooper Welch led the Panthers with two hits in four at bats. The Panthers didn’t commit a single error in the field. Brayden Paxton had ten chances in the field, the most on the team.
Lundgrin went 1-for-2 at the plate to lead Salina South High School in hits.
