Haysville-Campus High School vs Derby High School

1 1   1
2 1   3

The Panthers were looking to end their scoring drought they had found themselves in the last few games. Things seemed bleak early though when Campus opened the scoring in just ten minutes, while Derby was having trouble putting anything together. The first half was actually very sloppy for both teams, but Adan Vaquera made sure that the match was even going into the break with his 19’ goal.
Derby opened the game up in the second half and found a rhythm that helped them keep hold of the ball, looking very different from the first frame. The Panthers would add three more goals in the second half, two assisted, while giving up one with just :01 left in the game. Goals in the second half were scored by Nick Martinez, Riley Beasley and Bryce Casanova while the assists this evening were from Tyler Ring, Connor Blagg and Nick Martinez.
Derby (7-3, 3-1) will host Manhattan on Monday and Travel to Salina South on Tuesday.
